Gopro Hero 3+ Silver Edition + 32 Gig Pny Memory Card

Yes, I use 4 of them in my 3+ Black at 1080p60 and 4K (I think 15 fps, I can't recall), and in my two Hero 2014's (720p60/1080p30) with no issues at all.

GoPro has Recommended cards that they support and are the best option for the camera, I have a Hero 3+ Black and always shoot in 1080@60.

for the camera I have this is GOPRO recommendation

For HERO3 Silver and White Editions, any class 10 microSD cards can be used, including SanDisk Ultra and Lexar.

Which means any class 10 sd card and both I had is obviously not and they was both class 10 so I think GoPro should revise what they recommend !

Meh, I had an Amazon gift card that needed using up, I'd rather the peace of mind knowing it's more than enough and the best brand out there.

In this case I'd go with the Sandisk. It's (currently) £6 more, but it's sold by Amazon themselves, rather than a 3rd party retailer.

Not saying all third parties are bad, but for £6 knowing it's a non-nonsense retailer who will freely exchange anything you're not happy with, it makes sense.

Check the REVIEWS section on there the first one made me say n my head fuck that card because read this detailed review below

I've had to give this a one star which is unfortunate as I bet the genuine product is very good. Alas I didn't receive a genuine Samsung 64GB Micro SDXC. I bought two cards from ‘Stewie_SDs’ and have been having issues from day one. When loading data everything was fine until about 4GBs worth when everything loaded after wouldn't work/play etc. Files showed a ‘size’ but nothing would open/play. I first thought it was my new tablet however the SD cards also wouldn't work on my PC/netbook.

Reading some reviews about fake cards I downloaded an application (h2testw) to check out the performance of the cards. What I found got me really annoyed. Both cards could only hold 3.7GB of data, anything after that became corrupted (as verified by the h2testw results). I took the cards to my local Samsung retailer who confirmed that there were in fact not genuine Samsung products. They advised that:

1. The front orange/while print was of poor pixelated quality and the ‘Samsung’ logo wasn't printed straight;
2. The sides of the card should be the same white as the front print, the ones supplied to me had black sides;
3. Last but not least, Samsung manufacture their SD cards in Korea. One of the cards sold to me has ‘Made in Taiwan’ printed on the back (schoolboy error by the fakers there).

I'm currently in the process of returning the cards for a full refund and have been to a high street retailer to purchase a genuine 64GB card (happened to be PNY as they had no Samsung in stock).

My advice is that if you have concerns with performance/capacity use a tool like ‘h2testw’ and return items/contact sellers when things aren't upto scratch (bear in mind though the memory cards usually have slightly less usable memory than advertised due to formatting etc)

Oh and I did click the retail option for packaging and it does state its sold by amazon but that might be a website glitch !

In stock.
Dispatched from and sold by Amazon. Gift-wrap available.

Just ordered another one, sold directly by Amazon and has been posted after 40 minutes of ordering.

Ignore Amazon reviews as the system is broken, this is a well known problem and why no one relies on their reviews to see if a product is any good.

As you can see you have about 20 different options when you make the selections, not all of which are sold by Amazon, yet all the reviews are mashed together. Some of the options give you non-amazon sellers which could be fakes and all of the cards by all of the sellers get tarnished by that bad seller. This includes Amazon themselves.

That's not even mentioning the fact they also migrate reviews from amazon.com which adds a ton of new potentially fake sellers to the review list for every single option.

If you want to waste your money go ahead, I'm just trying to help but it's more effort than it's worth :p

It's not wasting money, it's choice*. Some prefer Sandisk to Samsung. People know they have the choice, but Sandisk are the biggest name at it, and quite likely the most reliable.

As for Amazon, there's lots screwed up. While I think the multi-option listings are very good, as in it's this grade of card, here are the size options, I don't think mixing sellers should be an option, or it should be a clear choice at the top as to which seller you wish to deal with as it would be easy to miss that the seller changed if you changed an option in the listing. My opinion, others may vary. Caveat emptor.

*Choice between retailers as well as brands

I know what you are saying and I honestly do want to save money but I went into Jessops on the high street took their advice also done research online and I do think I am paying a little more than I would like but hey I rather pay slightly more than have hasstle wth a purchase being fake ! Its just too risky on my view !

Ok I would like to thank everyone who has helped and SwissMotard I thank you also even tho I chose SanDisk its just safer for me and more realiable and trusted memory card.... Samsung is a good brand in its own right but I feel that SanDisk is the bigger brand and quality when it comes to memory cards ! and the reviews on the sandisk most of them are GoPro reviews which is exactly what I am using it for so all in all I am happy.

Yet again thanks to everyone who took the time to assist me dont think it was unappreciated but the card of my choice has been purchased :)
