Meet up . com / App

This is not a meet up post but rather a good website/app which local organiser host various meet ups. Meetup.com is not biker specific but I've found a number of motorcycle organisers within 40/50 miles of my location and which between them host 4/5 events per week.
Just thought it may be a good way for you guys who didn't know about it to get out and about and head out for few ride outs/ meets.

I've just joined a local one and I'm off to my first meet-up tomorrow morning. So far it looks like me and 4 old blokes meeting for breakfast. They do rides as well but I thought this would be a good chance to meet some of the members first. I'll let you know how it goes.

Turns out it was just breakfast, no ride-out. Eight showed up and it was a good laugh. Turns out there's another group a bit farther away who will probably be more my kind of thing. More spirited riding. All in all, the Meet-Up site is pretty good for finding people with similar hobbies and likes.
