Can I get an intro critique?

Be honest. Tell me if you hate it. I'm a big boy. I can take it. I'm kinda iffy on it. It's better than anything I've had in the past but I'm not so sure if I want to use it.

Nice intro but cut it at 3 seconds. There's nothing new or engaging after that.
Maybe you can add something at the beginning to make it not just splash video from black.

Getting a good intro for my next video is something that has been holding me for weeks. I just cannot release it without molding it to the shape I have in mind.

After over 9000 hours in AE, I can't come with something that doesn't look like a paint bitmap thrown in Flash and animated by a 5 year old.

After walking away for a while and then coming back and watching it a few more times I realized the same thing. Even though it's only 7 seconds it does run a bit long. I guess I just liked the sound of the gears shifting.

Maybe try find another sample of a motorbike going through the gears alittle quicker? so then theirs more too it in a shorter time frame

just do a fast fade in from black .. a second or so before the gear changes start... then couple seconds... fade out again

Don't like the background graphics. It's not really representative of you and your style. Plus, the camera isn't tracking quite right and needs some lean angle.

I DO like the logo.

I kinda thought the same thing about the lean angle when I was making it. I didn't make the tunnel graphic. I thought about trying to make the whole image tilt in the turns but then I thought about it. When I'm riding with the camera mounted to my helmet you don't really see the horizon tilt in turns because I tilt my head to compensate.

It does bother me that if there were a bike in that video it would be all over the lanes.

My only Critique, is the Tunnel was attracting my eye of ya name.

Thats my only Bitch about the Intro...:)

I am having trouble finding a programm thats free and easy to use for intro 3D making?? Any ideas?
Cheers

It's called Blender.
But the output is kinda raw, you need to retouch in After Effects and you're good to go.

--- Edit ---
Actually, you don't need to get fancy in AE to make a 3D render look good. Most video editors have the tools, it doesn't need too much retouch. A 4k render and then an HD resample will do.

Great effect and idea. Maybe, but no idea how tricky it would be. Toward the end the logo rushes forward like ya rode through it (5s mark) and the end of the tunnel rushing up leads to first frame of vlog. To Bruckheimer? just a thought. Ya logo is really nice.

That is awesome!
If I knew how to do something as funky, animated and slick as that - I would!
Truth is, I only know a few basic things for video editing, So I just keep mine short and simple. For me, minimalist approach is equally as good. less about me and more about you... Why not use it but fade it out into your vlog footage? (just an idea to extend on what others have said about being long)
