Concealed Carry on a motorcycle?

Alright, as I'm sure you can guess, I conceal carry a Glock 27 every day. I don't really want to get into my reasoning here. I respect the opinions of those opposing guns, and the way I see it is if you don't want to own a gun, I don't want to force you to own one.

Anyway, does anyone here have experience with carrying while on a motorcycle? I think that if I used the inside the waistband holster it would print horribly while on my bike, and if I were to ever go down... ow.

So what are your thoughs? I've played around with the idea of ankle carry, but just haven't given it a go. Jacket pocket seems a bit too slow to access.. find the pocket, open zipper, draw firearm, well... that took a while...

Also, if you have a setup that works, what do you carry? Or why don'y you carry on a motorcycle (for those of you that do CCW)?

That's actually not a bad idea. But what do you do in the event you get off your bike? Surely you don't leave it with the bike....

And hey... remember the song Love Gun? Someone took it seriously ;):)

I don't really carry while on the bike. I surely wouldn't want a solid metal object on my body in the event I went down to the ground. A friend of mine recently crashed and his cell phone did a good number to his ribs, lol. My wife does carry a smaller pistol, and she will stash it in her tank bag if she's not riding with me.

depends on my mood.. I have a vesacarry holster that virtually has no bulk and doesn't print at all. Or if I just don't care, I put on just my regular holster and open carry.
I have a ruger P345 .45 ....so even when im "concealing" the damn grip is poking out while on the bike. And id hate to think of going down with my gun right on my ass...I should rethink this now lol

Have you considered rigging up a pocket holster to the tank bag in a way that you could just reach into an open pocket and pull it out? Not sure if it is possible but worth a thought...

im from the uk and we arnt allowed any form of weapon, not sure where i would hide one if i had one though <3 x x

Buy a Ural and mount a .50 BMG machine gun. Not very concealed but at least no one will give you troubles ;)

Good Idea? Maybe not, but.....I ride with a backpack carrying: Phone....Laptop......Wallet......Heartburn pills......nose spray( i am an old man).......Lose change.....external hard drive......Glock 17...

Although I like the tank bag setup and backpack setup for comfort, to me it seems too slow to draw from. And I can't imagine pulling into a gas station and leaving my gun on the bike when I go inside. I definitely wouldn't want to attract attention as I draw the gun out of one holster and put it on another on my persons.

I have been putting a Ruger LCP (those of you that don't know firearms, it is a small (I can carry it in my jeans pocket) pistol that shoots a .380 ACP and holds six rounds) in my jacket pocket. It's zipped in, not going anywhere, and it is in a holster in the jacket. Although I don't like to carry such a small gun (no, I'm not one of those guys that want the S&W 500 because it's big), I would rather carry it than nothing. Still need to find a setup for a Glock 19 though.

That was a concern for me so I practice.....
backpack is on back.

1) Pull out right arm from shoulder strap.
2) Swing back around to front
3) The twin zippers are loose and fast moving so, stick thumb and forefinger of right hand inside slight opening.
4) this creates a wedge so I can ramb my fist into back to secrete compartment retrieving pistol.

One smooth motion all 4 movements.....I know this seems silly but it works....
