Workflow Efficiency: How long does it take you to edit?

I am a simple man, I edit my 360 footage first on the free Insta360 software, then add it to my main editor with my other footage. I don't do any fancy editing or panning/tiny planet/etc stuff with my 360 footage though, I just use the "invisible selfie-stick" angle unless making a short, where I only use the 360 footage

I think most of my stuff will be exactly that.
And a fancy dashcam if ever needed.

Only exception is that I want to try around with the tiny planet, just for tiktok

If done right, the tiny planet effect is REALLY COOL

I have a night ride that I need to publish, where I took the 360 camera and got some neat tiny planet shots.

First recording has been made with the Insta.
First part of the ride is gone, not quite sure if Insta had an error or what.
But the second part is all recorded.

I tried to clip a small clip with camera movements etc, mainly for me learning the app.
And tossed it on tiktok, which is really fast and might be the ideal route for this.
Also due to it being in portrait.

Editing for youtube, I'm not yet sure about.
I will try to edit the footage in Davinci as well at one point.

Cool! I highly recommend storing your footage on SSDs, at least while in editing. The huge data pull is hard for HDDs to handle.

I use an iMac with final cut, once I added an external drive (I chose a G drive) and begun to store all my Final cut and asset files on it expedited my work flow exponentially, no waiting for the imac to process, no memory issues, etc. Highly recommend storing all your files that way, G drive also makes a rugged version for those who travel.
