So we were talking about cost. I just watched the latest Itchyboots and she stopped in Honduras to get a video data sim card. She picked up a 25gig card and said the cost translated to about 1 dollar! I'm in Canada and I look on Amazon and I see a 4gig data for $34 plus tax! It works out to almost $10 a gig.
If it's that cheap for her out there, I can see her doing like Adrian said and simply using either her laptop or phone to upload while she rides. Technically I could do that too, but here in Canada it would cost a fortune so totally not worth it.
When Itchyboots reaches the States and Canada on her trek to Alaska, she is going to be paying a lot more for those sim cards. Mind you, she can easily afford it, but it won't be what she is used to. It will be a real eye opener for her.
