Greetings moto dudes and dudettes,

Just got my first bike a few months ago and thinking about motovlogging. Is this the right place for a beginner?

I've created one video but feel like youtube is over-saturated with footage like that.

This is the perfect place for the beginner and the experienced alike.

As far as if YouTube is oversaturated? Nope, they are still taking videos. Just create what you enjoy. :)

This is a great place for beginners! I started learning here three months ago and it's been invaluable in helping me improve.

I've learned way more from the experienced people here than I did from hours of videos. They are friendly and give good, down to earth advice. If you are looking to be walteriffic or something, maybe lower your expectations. I motovlog to document my journey and also meet new people and make friends, which I have done a lot of. My subscriber goal is 100, and even that feels like a lot to me. Imagine a theater packed with people watching your videos EVERY weekend. That's why when I see people complaining about having only 1000, or only 10,000 etc I'm like do you realize how many people you get to entertain? Its crazy. I enjoy actually making the videos as well, so for me it's fun, and learning editing has been fun too. And I have so much more to learn, every video I make I try and do something different or improve on my last video.

Welcome.

Here are some hold hard truths.

1. Most likely you will suck.
2. Most likely nobody will watch your stuff
3. Its more work than you think
4. Your audio will suck until you work out your setup.

Now once you get past those things, just have fun be yourself and enjoy the whole thing.
If you don't suck at the start please post and let us know how you did it.

This community has definitely helped me feel supported and surrounded by similar individuals on my journey. I'm only two weeks in front of you on the motovlogging journey, Jump Rider, but I love it. The time invest is worth it to me, and I hope to see some regular content from you soon!

Everyone here is great and you can get quite a bit of good advice here as well! Just remember that alot of the things that will make you better at motovlogging is going out and motovlogging! Experience is the best teacher :)

You will stop hating the sound of your own voice after a couple videos too ahaha

Not sure if I am missing something but I am still getting an insufficient privileges message in the members vlog posting section. I don't want to be "that guy" but I might need some help. Possibly my acct. isn't old enough as today is day 7 as of noon? Not sure what else it would be as it appears that rest of the criteria is met. Either way...I am sure it will get sorted and then I will put up my first vid!
