What do you mean by post the URL with spaces so it can be edited by a mod? Where should we put the spaces? I may have my post count up by then to put a URL in my posts, but another forum member may need this info.
put a space after each full stop

Yeah I suppose it would be easy to cheat on that one.
I'd say posts without showing an ending date in a certain time , and ending mileage would be void. For example: before you head out take a video of the date on your phone or maybe a billboard somewhere as well as your starting mileage. Then you can say approx how long the trip will be, wether is be days or hours. At then end, take a video of your ending date and mileage in the same way, as well as a GPS route you took. There are many apps out there that leave a GPS trail of your journeys.

I know I'm like 8 months too late, but the rule should be to find one of those signs in front of a business that show the date/time/temperature, start with one and end with one.

For the Iron Butt challenges you need to document your trip with receipts and having a gas station employee confirm your mileage. But I think if we did a endurance challenge we could skip the actual witness part of it as many gas stations in Europe at least is entirely unmanned and rarely open 24/7, which might be a problem if you are a bit hardcore about it (night ride)

I'll add that I, and thus most people, can photoshop those signs with relative ease.

A motorcycle, silly.
I may be interested in participating in this but there is no certainty on what the challenges will be as everyone is spit balling a few good'ns. Will these be released with a confirmed start date?

It may be worth noting the nation's differences, so i think it has to be universal among all nations also I'm not feeling to do this if it's going to put me out of pocket drastically. Super-unleaded ain't cheap bros lol

don't worry, When a starting date will be set and finalized, the assignments will also be finalized.
and don't worry about the universal stuff as well, most of the time you can improvise a bit.
for example, the in Solar Bear Challenge, you had to do a video about a snake called "After 8", but in my country I only have "Quarter to 7"
case in point:

TL;DR
It's not finalized yet.
so don't worry
worst case scenario, you can always send a PM

Is that time frame shorter than normal?

I don't like my chances given the shitty weather we have on this side of the planet at the moment.
