Hi I'm a Hawaii person living and motovlogging in Japan. Can't wait to get some tips on how to create a better channel and learn . There must be tons of experience and advice I can't wait to learn. How do you all get such stable footage , mine is a bit garbage . Thanks for reading !

Welcome to the site! I don't personally to get stable footage. I just have my camera mounted to my helmet and that's about it! Where's your camera mounted?

Helmet !! And I tried bars and man it was shaky as hell

YouTube may let you know it can stabilize the footage. If not, then you can ask it to enhance it which will let the system stabilize it.

There are some other programs out there that can do it to. There are pros and cons to using them.

DON'T let YT stabilise the footage!!!
Its terrible and makes videos unwatchable.

If you have the camera helmet mounted then it should be stable enough. Or for really good footage get a chest mounted stabilised gimbal.

Very much this. YT stabilization sucks.
