Excited I found this site! I live in the middle of California near the capital. I work in the software industry as well as the rail (trains) industry. It's a fun job and I get to travel a little because of it. I started riding a few years ago and it has been a blast! Love it. I have two bikes, a CBR500R and CBR650F. I started on the 500 and got a great deal on the 650F so I had to buy it. Both are great starter bikes IMO.

I've watched videos for years and was given a gopro so that is what prompted me to make a few motovlogs. I only have a handful out and while they have been fun to make I see much room for improvement! A big reason I registered. I'm using a GoPro Hero 3+ on a custom 3D printed chin mount to make it superflush to my EXO-R2000 helmet.

I just published my latest motovlog talking about the new Star Wars film. Even have motorcycles dueling with lightsabers in it. Was fun to make!

Yeah the mount is awesome. Makes the camera more flush (as flush as a fat GoPro can be) and lowers the wind resistance. I had the camera hanging off the side on my previous helmet and it sucked. At the time I could not find a curved mount offset by 90 degrees from the standard GoPro mount. Maybe it's sold somewhere now? The mount is printed with carbon fiber embedded into it so it seems strong enough. The plastic was yellow so I spray painted it black to match. I also removed the fat GoPro screw and bought the tiny ones at Home Depot. Using a battery eliminator I don't ever have to touch it on a long ride. Sweetness.
