I've only really started using Tubebuddy recently. Used it to get some higher performing videos more visible. Only been a week so can't comment much, but as already suggested, its quite a lot easier.
I stumbled on a few vids about video SEO in YouTube. I was like, damn, I don't do the things they are saying. So thought I'd give it a whirl. Main thing seemed to be key phrases, not individual key words.
The tags used that aren't relevant/using big names. Naughty! YT can't police that for everyone, so probably very widely done
