Youtube Partnership Open Enrollment?!

This might be old news for some, but I just found out tonight that Youtube partnership now has open enrollment.
To sign up, you only need to have at least one monitizable video.
This is great news, but there is a catch.
You don't get all the bells and whistles until your channel carries some weight.
But you do get to monetize your videos from day one, and you get custom video thumbnails from the start.
I've already added custom thumbnails to my vids : ) Anywho, if you didn't know (like myself) now you do!

thats not a partner ship man, they just added that feature as a basic. so they can make more money

partners requirement s is about 700+ subs, 1 Vid a week+ ( or certin videos that contain atleast 1000 views a day + on average

Not strictly true they always made money off your videos they are just sharing the wealth a bit, the reason behind the move was not generosity on the part of google but fear of other better free video streaming sites.

It is indeed a partnership. What you're referring to is full partnership, or premium level partnership aka, all of the features.

None the less, I figured I wasn't the only one who didn't know and only wished to share news in case others may have been interested as well.
