Hey guys,
As you all know, YouTube encodes uploaded videos in different codecs, thus sometimes making your awesome looking footage look like horse sh.. NOW, if YouTube would only encode my videos in the AVC1 codec - I would be totally cool with that (new channel, small number of views, subs, blablabla) BUT - some of my videos (funny enough - not those with lots of views) are in VP9, and some are in that awful AVC1. Could anyone tell me, what am I missing? What is this crazy algorithm that assigns a certain codec to a video?
