Your Own Audio Tracks?

That's an incredibly old article now and their algorithms are crazy good now.

Pitch, speed and section of song doesn't matter anymore.

That's what I figured. It's probably more about the gain level of the track and whether or not there's enough waveform data there to detect it at a certain quality level.

Seen a couple of people who got flagged because of background music reaching their mic, so if it's perceptible, you may get flagged.

I usually only use music I hold the rights to. One benefit of having published my own songs. I did have a problem once with a copyright troll, but that was resolved quickly. There are a couple of vids that use clips of someone else's music, but I ain't tellin' which ones.

Wish i had time to do my own music. drumming and studio recording have taken a step back since motovloggin maybe in the winter i come back to it more

can anyone give me some more detail on what "monitoring for possible review" means? in my first season i used an original composition, even recorded it on my own. 100% my work. i've since changed to youtube music and monetezation gets passed instantly. my first group of videos still have that on there though.

YouTube has detected music that doesn't match it's database and they are going to manually verify it isn't breaking any copyrights.
