Ordered my PR4's to be fitted this saturday. Choked at the price though, £350 all in

Nevermind, needs doing. Rear tyre is square af and the front is plain awful
WOWZERS, that is like over £100 in labour charges!!!!

Next time mate, buy the tyres on ebay and remove the wheels yourself, I get my tyres fitted for £20 each iirc and that includes balancing and a new valve!

Well I haven't paid yet, looking around for better prices. Will have to come up with some bs excuse to cancel other than "you're a ripoff" :D

check you have somewhere local that will fit them to loose wheels for you first!

I don't know if this lot are near you, found them on a quick google search:

http://www.adamsandpage.co.uk/tyres/motorbike-tyres/

It sometimes works out cheaper to buy tyres from the place you are getting them fitted but not always. Never use a motorcycle dealership for tyres unless you are really stuck as they will charge silly labour rates. Def worth investing in a pair of paddock stands if you've not got some already, makes wheel removal a wedge easier and they'll pay for themselves probably after one set of tyres!

They are very close! Unfortunately I'm stuck at the wheel removing part haha, don't have anything to do that with yet.

Found a place that will supply and fit for £270, 20 min ride away :)

If you were closer I'd lend you mine. Awesome that you have got the price to £270 as with loose wheels you'd probs be looking at around £250-£260 so well worth the extra £10 to not get your hands dirty.... can also scrub the tyres in on your way home too! :D

I always thought that the PR4's were just marketing. But my lawd, these tyres grip in the rain like you will not believe. I got around 6000km's on the rear, but I ride quite hard and have no regard for the back tyre.

Currently have Pirelli Rosso 3's and they are mostly good, but take a while to warm up and are nearly useless for rain. I would not buy them if you rode daily or through puddles.
