Winter survival?

Heated gear that plugs in is a game changer. We have a fairly short window of perfect riding weather here, but Spring and Fall can have some nice days outside of frigid mornings. There's been days I've taken off at sub 20F, and it hit 60 plus by noon. Add in heated grips and hippo hands for the hand warmth. I have decent hand guards on my Tracer, and it does cut the wind enough most of the time. I HATE bulk gloves, so I had to find other options.

The gloves have been an absolute game changer, so much so that I've invested in more heated gear, I honestly don't know why I didn't buy this stuff last winter... Just got a heated jacket and god damn it's amazing :D

Tempted to just buy a whole outfit of heated stuff now, haha!

I always have heated grips. One of the first things I add but in the really cold temperatures they help but don't solve the problem. Hand guards take away some of the wind blast. On my first CB500X with a heated vest, heated grips and handguards I managed five hours at such zero Celsius before my headlamp went out with no cold issues. I haven't tried heated gloves. I have tried the handlebar muffs but gave up on them because they interfered with the controls.
