Why did this guy feint to head-on collide with me?

I don;t either. It looked like he was trying to scare me on purpose, there was no reason for him to come straight at me - he forced me to change position and slow down, and I seriously thought he was on a suicide mission. He wasn't overtaking as he was at the front of the traffic, and I don;t remember anything in the road that would have caused him to do it - I can only assume he has an issue with scooters or an issue with his head.

Wonder if I will ever get the opportunity to give him a real reason to have an issue

I reckon he'd just overtaken the lead car and then looked up and seen you. At that point I would surmise that he's a young and inexperienced rider and suffered from a little bit of Target fixation due to his raised excitement levels! Thus causing him to involuntarily head straight towards you because he's staring at you trying to miss you!

You don't have glittery neon lights or a big pair of boobs on the front of your bike do you?
