It aids in the prevention of a high speed wobble, the settings go up to 20. I keep mine on 10, held a constant speed of 155 with no problems. I invested in it after a wobble at 85, scared the living hell out of me.

Cool ! Saw the price on them - yikes !.....

Luckily I haven't had a wobble on my yet *knocks on wood*, so hopefully I can hold off for a while before needing to get one .....
