Damn it, now I am going to order more mounts and maybe the suction cup, or the chesty. I like to mix up the angles depending on my riding style for the day.
My kids love to watch the lean, it looks better mounted lower on your bike or body.
As far as a mic, I can only tell you which not to get, and what I got that worked.
I got a movo GM100 from amazon. like 15-7 USD, arrived in 24 hours, so far a great mic,
the one I got that didn't work was a 2 for 6.99 on amazon.

Here is a link to my reviews of them if you want the good one is under 5 minutes, the other is shorter. I hope this helps!!!

The MOVO

The one that didn't work right.

Cheers for that ... Just watched a couple of your vlogs on your channel and it sounds good (subscribed too) so I'm going to order one :-)

Couldn't find that mic so this looks about the closest (maybe a different name for Europe) it's called a BOYA

I am a big fan of the Audio Technica 3350 Lapel Mic, I'm doing a setup video this week but I think it is a fantastic mic and it is on the cheap. just don't forget to turn it off like I have lol

Cheaper is better in my opinion :p ... the battery just adds to the clunkiness ;) .

...but if you buy a cheap mic like the one I got (off of ebay ~_~ ), the cable will break within a few months of use and you'll be replacing the cable with a thicker, higher quality one ~_~ ...

...so give and take, I guess ;) ~.....

No it has a clamp (the attachment not the wife) and would use it on me ...some guys would pay good money for that but I would rather vlog with a less high pitch tone :)

I only use the best......... lol yeah right..........I buy the cheapest I can find and they work well

Mics really don't make that much difference when you're just comparing lapel mics (I've personally tried 5). Your device, position, buffeting from the helmet's exterior and wind isolation make the biggest differences.

...plus a good mic will not sound any better than a cheaper mic when you have nothing but noise around you. I believe dynamic mics would be better for that if they were small enough :o ?

I wish I could tell you the exact name of the mic I got from my buddy Jake2Wheels. I absolutely love it!!! great balance between my voice and my bike.. check my page sloppygrace under channels on youtube and tell me how you like it! No need to subscribe if you don't want, just a way to actually hear what it sounds like.. if you like it, remind me about this post and i'll dig into what mic it is. I know it costs about $6 on Amazon for two mics!! I personally think it sounds awesome.
