Where to find free SOUND effects?

I have found that free sound effects, as well as free music are also the most crappiest you can get, and they potentially ruin your video. I finally decided to subscribe to a pay for music website that also offers sound effects, and although you need a budget for the yearly fee, gives far superior, copyright free, decent music and sound effects for your vids.

Same! I use Epidemic sound and find it fits what I am looking for as far as background music and sound efx for my videos.

I have gotten stuff from mixkit.co, freesound.org, and YT itself, and I think the music from YT is OK, the stuff from mixkit is better, and freesound has a lot of crap mixed in with some pretty decent SFX...
