What's The Longest You've Gone Without Riding???

Had back surgery in 2011, took me out for 4 months or so. Made the mistake of selling my 05 R1 because I thought I'd never get to ride a sportbike again.

Didn't ride for about 9 months last year. Depression, work, and more health reasons had me selling all my bikes.
Life can be what you make of it. Decide to be happy, bikes help with that.

A motorcycle? Just about 7 years. When I left the Netherlands I left my motorcycle license behind. I got my license in the USA in 2015, finished top of my class in the practical despite not having ridden for so long. I guess you don't loose that touch once you have done it! It helps that the bikes where little 125cc ones... Laughable when you think about it... You do a 2 day course and you can step on a BUSA and wrap yourself around a concrete divider at 200mph. I really need to do a vlog about it.

Mine was 10 years. I rode the odd bike of mates, but once I bought another bike, have ridden regularly since. Not going to be without a bike again. I'm in a spell at the moment where I cant ride for a couple weeks due to surgery and I miss it immensely, being on here talking bout bikes has probably saved me lol.

So some of you know recently my ZX-6R took a shit and needed tons of work and getting a new bike was an extremely painful process. It feels so great to be back on a bike again. After my MSF course (no prior motorcycle experience) I had a bike in 7 days. after getting that bike I rode constantly putting nearly 2500 miles in 2 months. these last 4 weeks till I got my new(to me) 2003 CBR600RR Wednesday were miserable. so the question is...

What's the longest you've gone without riding???

7 months due to accident and finances

Got my endorsement years ago...recently had a work trip for 6 months and couldn't ride...didn't think I'd make it.

I had a break from riding for around a year, After an awesome trackday and trip around Europe I found myself very disillusioned with riding in the UK. I got my mojo back when I dusted off my Moto Guzzi V7 and started to customise it!
