What Will Make You Turn Off A Vloggers Youtube Vlog Quickly?

Shifty

Motovlogger
  1. The children's party clown fake introduction?
"Wah hey youtubers .... what's up!!!"

2. A fake accent uk blogger doing US weird accent?

3. Sanctimonious riding and road rage?
All car drivers are shit.... (because I'm obviously a riding god?)... riding at car drivers and abusing them.

All the above and when they whine about other motovloggers/style. It is a free market.

Plus stroking the audience too much in the same video. Thanking folks for tuning in is ok but about 5 minutes going on about how much you love them over and over in most videos is a bit insincere.

my biggest turn offs are no content, just random noises and fast talk rambling, bad camera angles, i dont want to stare at your gas tank the entire time, and people that are obviously trying too hard to be funny/crazy/ragey.

Copycat vlogers.
I'm also starting to get turned off by everyone Casey neistating every vid.

Long intros.. You arent a TV Show or movie
Raging for the smallest thing.. I dont care if the driver didnt indicate and might have hit you (Im guilty of this though)
Trying to copy big youtubes .. Riding around screaming DEM MUFFS or CHEA! etc

For me here are my top reasons to turn a vlog off instantly in order.

1. Terrible audio: It's not hard to set up your audio in such a way that is easy to listen to and doesn't make your ears bleed. Wind noise also makes me typically turn it off as well. And finally if you have a mono mic and your sound is only coming out through one side of my headphones it's an instant dealbreaker for me. Download audacity and make that shit stereo...

2. Terrible video quality. Pretty simple and doesn't require an explanation.

3. Slow or boring topics

4. Copying other vloggers

5. Long intros

6. Your vlog just seems fake or forced....just be you

Basically, what you said!

Everyone has pretty much covered all the stuff that would put me off from watching, but personally, the core ones will be being fake in the sense of trying to impress/show off/pretentious, I just can't stand that. Others depend on how severe.

If you keep it true to yourself, not trying to copy, not talking about something I'm not at all interested in, I would take the time (what little that I have) to view your stuff, although I might not be viewing it immediately when released.

I think people in general don't like forced and can see when you aren't genuine. I like watching motovlogs but shaky video and bad angles are tough to watch.

Dude - spot on. I watch gaming videos as well as other vloggers and when I hear the same enthusiastic "HEY GUYS WHATS GOIN ON ITS YOUR BRO" - seriously SHUT up... just get on with the video.

It's so easy to demonise people just by calling them out and using that one piece of video footage to justify they're a horrible driver and thus a horrible person.

Can't say much on copying other people. Don't copy their style possibly I think is what your getting at but in terms of content then there's no shame on posting your own opinion on a contour vs go pro or how to choose the right helmet if like a 1000 people have done that already as long as people are genuine then that's all there is to it in my honest opinion.

I look up blog and podcast topics and mixing diving adventures in between. the way i see it - just do what bloggers do, except that you're riding a motorcycle while talking. Talking to a dash cam about any said topic makes you no different than those regular video bloggers that sit down on their lounge with a camera on their face talking about the exact same thing. :)

for me, foul language is a turn off. It's juvenile and unnecessary, and I don't care to hear it, so I'll watch someone else with a more robust vocabulary.

I'm guilty of starting me vids with "hey guys, Burlyjack here." I didn't even realize it but I was using that as a filler. Now that I think about it, it's no different really than using uhs and ums. No need to introduce myself, my 5sec intro says I'm Burlyjack.

Usually I just have vlogs kind of playing in the background when I'm at the house and I catch snips here and there. I quickly hit next if there's excessive swearing or raging over petty bs. You're a biker man, grow a pair and get over it. Other than that, just the general poor quality vlogs with no subject, bad cuts and editing, and bad angels etc.
