So quite recently we had a topic around motorcycle-specific movies/series etc, which got quite some attention.
And with me doing my almost monthly Cinema vlog, i decided to try and restart this topic here

I just finished watching the Watchmen Season 1. So not the movie, but the series.
And i was surprised with how well and fitting it was written. Takes a small start, but builds up nicely.
Maybe a tad bit predictable, but for sure enjoyable. Looking Glass(Tim Blake Nelson ) is a great role/character, really well played.

Some people are seeing some political statements in the series, but i didn't notice them really. Nothing that bothered me, and way way less then recent blockbusters xD

I'm looking forward to S2 of Altered Carbon, just finished S2 of Sex education which was funny and sad.
In the cinema, I really loved Jojo Rabbit, possibly my favorite film ever TBH, which really took me by surprise! Was less impressed with 1917, although did enjoy it. Really looking forward to the new 007 and Top Gun

Both Jojo Rabbit as 1917 were real treats to watch in the Cinema.
Watched 1917 twice, which does add something to it. I like the switch it makes early on and the way it is shoot.
Even with an error or 2.

Jojo rabbit has really found the perfect way to jump from gritty dark, to humor, to pure dark. Possible best film of 2019, although i haven't seen Parasite yet.

I have started watching Picard on Prime (not a movie, I know) not sure what I think about it yet.

I'm enjoying Picard, but it is very slow paced and a little too self centered, which given it's title should not really be surprising to me lol

I watched "Kursk: The Last Mission " last night, it had me in bits, proper heartbreaking to watch, especially as an ex-submariner.

Started watching Peaky Blinders after many many recommendations.

Last movie I saw was the remake of Suspiria. I liked the style of the original better but it was an interesting movie. Got very gory towards the end. Tilda Swinton did a great job in it.
