What Have You Done To Your Bike Today?

New grips and a 1/5 turn throttle tube. The grips might get swapped again. Tried the cheap eBay ones and I'm on the fence. Plus, the one didn't fit the throttle tube too well.

Did quite a bit of work on my bike yesterday.

First time oil change
cleaned the air filter
fitted new indicators front and rear. Which turned into a huge mission as I had to completely remove the front fairing and tail section. But it was fun and a good learning experience.

Found out why my right foglight isn't working. looked like the light was burned out, even though I've never seen it go out, because I've never turned them on after my battery died.
Just bought 2 replacement lights in case these blow out again.

well my friend had a serious wreck on one of my motorcycles , Kawasaki KLR ... went around a corner and ditched it ,and he hit a fence post & airlifted away..

So i have been piecing back together the bike , just got the enjine running today , now i need to fix the turn signals ,front light ,tail light, mirrors , handle bars , ect . . .
Ill post a pic once I get off work

Things used were: drill wire brush, drill scouring pad (it has a proper name) various grades of sanding and abranet, wet & dry and AutoSol. Painting by Hammerite Smooth :)

Cheers! Done the engine casings too, so should be tidy now. Fork legs aren't going to get attention though, they're not so bad!

Took the baffle out of the LV Carbon Titanium slip on, holy shit what a difference?! Photos and videos to come :)

Found an oil leak, investigated and it's the oil cooler. Took it off and down to a rad shop. It's not fixable :(

I stuffed some Chore Boy (copper scrubby things) in my muffler to add a bit of, um, muffling. Works pretty well.

Yesterday I did my first chain cleaning. It was much simpler than I'd worried about. Used the spray and wax from the local bike shop and tutorial from RevZilla. Picked up a $2 brush from the parts store. Also readjusted the chain as apparently I can't get it right, lol.
