That's kind of the way I think too. I occasionally have a video that has much higher than expected view counts, but this is because I post some videos that have cross-genre appeal I guess. So they get a fair amount of traffic from other youtube communities. But I did notice a definite trend in much smaller channels starting out as monetized which made me wonder about it's value.Buying subs seem pointless because you have more subs doesn't mean more people will subscribe, I think. As for monetizing I'm not sure either but I would think that it is not worth annoying your subs until you have 1000+ views per video.Cheers
to me views are more important then subs. I know i will never make it as a vlogger so next best thing for me is make a bunch of videos that are different and people want to see because they are funny. I work on getting views and if people like my videos they will sub in time.Tell me how you really feel.
