What are you using as a pole with your 360 camera? (Roadreality and others???)

That's it.
I'm having a hard time finding a suitable pole for my Max.
I was thinking in 3D printing a custom one but I don't want to lose a $500 camera on the road...
Now I'm thinking of this:

I use something very much like that and I'll be posting a part 1 of a 2 part video this weekend on how
I set it up tested different mounting angles for my 360 camera.

I use the Insta360 Bullet Time selfie stick kit, combined with the Insta360 Motorcycle Kit and a Sky JFFJ adapter.

Check out my video titled "GoPro Max and Insta 360 Selfie Stick Motorcycle Mount Kit on Harley Street Glide // Setup // Testing" on my channel - it's got affiliate links to the kits I use.

I've been quite happy with it so far, just make sure you have a 2-point mount or keep the leverage down [2ft or less of extension out of the 4ft available]. FWIW, I have a playlist for 360 Camera Tests on my channel of vids I've done, some good, some bad. Lens protectors saved my bacon a couple of times so far.

I use the original insta pole, that came with my camera. I am not that satisfied with it though, because there is no locking between the joints, and the way I use that camera (pole is almost completely vertically), it tends to collapse the pole, on uneven roads. So I am thinking (for a very long time now, never seem to get to actions :P) of purchasing a monopod, that has twistable locking, between joints. Monopods usually have spikes at bottom, which can be screwed out, and I can have another thread there, for mounting.
 
I use Insta 360 pole of some shots and a RAM mount for others. Leverage is the enemy on longer poles.
 
I use the Insta pole with mine. I Velcro strap it to multiple points. I don't trust it without at least 2 points of contact.
 
Yeah, leverage is my main concern too, as a dualsporter, bumpy roads are mandatory.

I managed to succeed in shooting my first serious 360 video with my reborn Gopro Max. The first one died from sudden death 2 months ago, the usb plug was toast.
I placed the camera in the handle bars, using a ram mounts setup. It was a pretty nice shoot. The video is still under edition before going online.
I will keep you posted.
 
Oh c'mon guys, live a little! Did anyone see my vid where the 4ft selfie stick was fully extended and started moving towards the back of the bike? Or the one where my 360 cam hit the ground at 50mph?

I don't understand why no one has created a two point system. We've been using it to stop street posts from tipping for a hundred years...

You tension it up right and it doesn't move. Not exactly rocket science. Why can't we have nice things? :(
 
Jake the Garden Snake uses a 2 point mount on his Insta360 One R on some of his angles.
I have a body mount by a company called SailVideoSystem, that has the pole, and then 2 straps to add stability, it works well, but the straps remain visible in shot while the pole gets deleted from view because it is between the 2 camera lenses on the 360 camera.
