Thanks for the warm welcome guys, this is a beautiful part of the country in my opinion, I love it here, I just wish there was more legal places for trail bikes. We have 1000's of miles of snowmobile trails almost all are closed to Wheeled vehicle travel.
The bike is a 2020 RPS Hawk 250. It's a clone of a Honda CG style engine, so it's push rod. It's mostly assembled, you have to put on some of the plastic, front tire, handlebars, stuff like that. Then it's a good idea to go over the bike they're known for having the occasional loose bolt and such. But if you put in a little effort up front, and keep up on maintenance it's a great way to get alot of fun per dollar.
So far I've swapped the head gasket for higher compression, flushed my brake fluid, set the valves, installed a Pumper carb, and a few other small things. I've got chain and sprockets sitting here to go on as well. Fat bars on the way, digital dash, plenty of tinkering to do, but I'm ready to get riding once this rain takes a hike.
