Hello @HippoDrone and all MotoVlog.com community, thank you for having me. Memet is actually the name of my current bike, a 2016 Yamaha MT25 (a 250cc version of the Yamaha MT03). I am from Indonesia, currently based in Batam City, a small island city about 30Km to the south of Singapore. I have been a street bike rider for about 6-7 years now, and recently start to enjoy a slightly longer range ride.
I have been thinking of doing a 1000+ KM rides since many years ago, but only had the chance to finally do it about a year ago back in December 2021 - January 2022, riding solo in sumatra, from Batam island to my hometown near Lake Toba for christmas, and then back. The picture in my profile is taken during that ride, with Lake Toba (the largest lake in Indonesia, and the largest volcanic lake in the world) in the background. The whole journey was recorded using a Yi action cam, and was posted to youtube. It was meant to be a purely personal documentation of an amateur, so do not expect anything much on the quality of the videos. I wasn't really planning to become a serious motovlogger or something like that. However, recently I find it more and more enjoyable, making videos of my rides, editing, and posting it to youtube. So I am thinking of putting more effort into it, learning more on video making, editing, and that kind of stuff. Nothing too serious, purely as a fun weekend project.
I just bought a new action cam about 2 weeks ago, an insta360 one r, and currently fiddling around with it, haven't really get the full hang of it just yet. I am planning a 3 days vacation on a neighboring Bintan island next week, and hoping to document all the journey using this new cam, and then posting it to my youtube channel.
