I have allways bought the cheaper versions, and had more footage angles to play with :)

I did see a reference for the Hero4 to be out soonish? Not sure on price, but you can bet it'll be $450-550?
But thats fine by me, i need to update again in about 6+ months...but i'll be getn a DriftHD $150 ish on fleabay atm.

Be nice to discover a Gold mine inthe backyard...Gimmee one of EVERY wizBang Gadgit out there.

Ive had a play around with go pros and i just cant get on with them as well as the drift all i do is slide it into its mount then press 2 buttons and its recording

Not sure if anyones seen this b4??
Found this whilst looking round...Bit pricey $250-$750 PER DAY!!, you CANNOT Buy one, but ifu have rich parents, your Vlogging might just get even more FULLY HD??

So take a cheapie commercial camera, not even a good one, strip all the plastic case out, remove the lens and put a socket with an aluminium frame then charge $250 a day for rental... They got a business going on there.

And it's not like the product never existed. Small c-mount full HD cameras have been available since 2008 with proper DVI and SDI video outputs, a proper broadcast quality camera sensor (3CCD or 3CMOS) and full manual controls, you know, useful when you want to do some "PRO" video capturing. Of course not everyone has some $9k to spare to buy one.

I'm interested in how they hacked the camera to control the exposure though.

Mmmm, the MacGyver in me is starting to think??? Could have a FleaBay Dodgy business here?? Just have to move to Nigeria first.

My brother has been a Film nut for ever, he works in the industry. So in the past, ive seen some kool cameras, but nothing as Tiny as nowadays.
Used to be, 'The Bigger, the Better'. Not now, now the tiny ones among us are breaking free...

Next thing i want is a Drone with a GPS tracker, have a sender on me bike. Have it follow me round, filming from above...

I guess its a total re-build by Novo?? have their own chip to do exposure with that lens??

Aggree with ya, 'eventually' ill get a Drift aswell. I prefer the 'slim-line' effect, and angle is better with my tall-ass fairing.
Mounting to side of bike is more slim, STD plug in Mic,...etc, etc, etc.
Just gotta get the spare cash (one-day!! lol)
Plus then i can do a Cam comparo on 3brands...Win!!

Cheers
