Vivitar Cameras

Pretty sure I spelled that wrong but ah well. I was at Target little while ago and I came across a distant cousin of the GoP2 called Vivitar cameras. It was pretty fair priced although I didn't get it, I wanted to get some feed back if anyone knows anything about them. Are they as good as the GP2 or no?

I didn't see any place for a mic, but that is okay because I can always do a voice over later. I still plan on getting the GP2 later but I want to get my blogging adventure going!

I don't know man...it doesn't seem like it is really worth the money. Yeah it seems really cheap...I'm thinking you're talking about this camera?

I just checked out some of the test videos of it...and the first GoPro HD would be a lot better choice than that. I think you would be better off just saving up for something better. I don't even think the Vivitar Helmet Camera shoots in high definition.

Value and price are not the same thing. I always say, get the best value you can afford, not the lowest price.
As far as cameras go. Do research, and buy what you know will suit you the best. If you have to save for it, so be it.
