Here's a method I used, is much better than the helmet, no wind noise, just great engine note on a seperate mic to the voice:

My problem is that I'm sometimes forgetful so I don't want to have to remember to unplug anything when I get off the bike! Having the second channel of audio coming from a mic tucked up the back of the helmet should hopefully cut out enough of the wind to pick up the exhaust nicely. But we'll see!

Me too! I've just installed all of this nonsense into my new lid. Was hoping for some confirmation t that it was worth it before the cabling faff!

But it seems I'm pioneering the eBay Y-split. See next video for results!
