The recent legal battle with megaupload should have been enough to show you that once you upload it to the internet it's no longer yours. Once it's out, it's out. If 'they' want to take it off YT you're not going to be able to stop them.
Oh, no THAT part I agree with. If you post it, it's up. That's not a whole lot different than telling someone you did something illegal. It's practically a confession, they just have to prove it's you still.
I am talking about me riding around and a cop arresting me and seizing my camera for their case against me. THAT is wrong and unacceptable.
The other part of that is a lot of the lawsuits are in the US. So every country has its quirks.
Has anyone else heard of any big lawsuits in their countries as far as copyright infringement, etc?
I'm normally pretty calm towards cops, but there was recently an event that happened in LA that's been boiling my blood
(it will be at bottom, skip over if you don't care)

I do think it's a 5th amendment violation, but that's also been shown to not be the case so far. They also don't have to prove to an absolute T that it was you. They only have to beat the burden of reasonable doubt, which is surprisingly easy, especially when the video is of your bike, on your channel which features other videos of you riding along with your voice, uploaded from your IP address, filmed in your general location... Think about the caliber of brain power that will make up your jury, and start writing your check to the DPS!
I'd have to agree again on the 5th as well. Again though, this would be specific to our country.
I'd assume other countries have pretty specific Bills of Rights, especially Britain. Since, you know, that's where we got ours from ;P
And that is true as well unfortunately.
My biggest hope is that if I ever get chased it's during rush hour and it's not a biker cop.
So, the thing that's been having my blood boiling lately is an incident that happened in LA a couple days back.
Basically, a guy is filming the cops. Completely legal. He's on the opposite side of the street on a far corner.
So, these 2 cops start looking at him and start walking his way. Guy probably realizes this might be best for him to put his dog up, so he puts the dog in the car. Mind you, it's around 100F that day.
Well, cops start arresting him for (WTF ever BS they made up) and the dog doesn't like his master being attacked. As mentioned, 100F degree day. Car has windows rolled down about halfway. Dog jumps out and goes to master, but cowers around the cops. They start to back the dog up and then one of them kinda does some pathetic swatting at the dog and the dog kinda swats back at the aggressor.
Dog gets pumped full of lead out in the street and is killed in front of his owner and the entire neighborhood.
If you want the video, YT search "hawthorne" and it will be all over the autofill. Hawthorne cop kill dog if that doesn't work.
Now if anyone here has ever watched a video of mine, I have said it before, I love animals, hate people.
I'm going to try to limit the expletives here, but these cops were Fin pathetic. It is entirely their fault for what happened and what they did. Yes, the guy could have rolled his windows up more. Or not filmed the police. However he's completely legally protected to film them in public. He wasn't hiding it or in anyones face.
If you take out any wrong-doing, it all comes down to him being illegally arrested.
//end rant
Sorry guys!
tl;dr-
The cops have been getting away with too much. And now I think they've really F'd themselves up the bunger. Twice, without lube, with a pineapple.
It's unacceptable and pathetic and it needs to be fixed.
