A few weeks ago, well now month and more, I posted for my first time here. Some may not have seen my R1 before I started my project of giving it a one of the kind 1970's style panels all over it. Just got back from a 430 mile ride after being mid project and could not stand not riding. Here's what she looked like before I started.

It's a 2009 Yamaha R1. Almost 20,000 hard miles on it. Full graves exhaust, remapped ecu with power programmer. I wasn't a huge fan of all the stickers and the yellow so I decided to have a great friend and guy who got me into this sport paint it since he does it for a living. Here's what it looks like now

Again this is MID PROJECT and I just got back from a 430 mile ride. The wheels are coming off Monday. Some of the plastics and nose cone as well. More to come!!!! As always stay safe out there!

I like the yellow yamahas I know in dirt bikes the yellow 60th are faster.

She's not even wet sanded yet haha. But yeah she needs to get under the sun to do it any justice. Also when the actual graphics get painted you might change your minds. That white is just the base. Lot's to be taped off coming this next week. I'm excited to share this with you guys thanks for the feedback!

Me too!! It's been a long process but it will be so worth it in the end. New Shinko tires and waterproof LED strips are shipping!

I couldn't tell you the paint code for the white but I have the pearl that was put in the clear.

The white that comes on the s14 240s has a ton of blue pearl in it. I love white with blue pearl.

As she sits right now. All the panels are out for paint yet again. This time the wheels went with New tires are in. waiting on LED's and the finished paintwork. Dreams don't come true. Work for it!
