The "What Did You Do Today" Thread....

Sorry, didn't see this until now - the web site apparently isn't emailing me properly?

Anyway, not that I know of, but it's a tiny bug that causes ME heartburn but probably not a big deal overall. It's literally adding the "Digital Glitch" effect to a clip that caused it to shut down (it was an adjustment clip I added it to). Other than that, it's been smooth sailing with DR17.

Cool. Definitely a temptation for the new year.

Today I started what is probably going to be my saddest weekend this summer. Worst of all, I had two events I was looking forward to attending this weekend. Including a charity ride for disabled children. Anyone cares to lend me a ride real quick?

I am rooting for you friend. I know I hate seeing my bike on the operating table.

Update to my bike problem\what did I do today. Almost end of my workday, I get a call from the electrician, starting with: "I am sad to say..." That is always the best way to present positive news, that there is nothing left to repair and the bike is ready. He had replaced a bit of wiring and also the starter relay, which I thought was fine, but there we go - my knowledge of my bikes electric components is clearly not on the level they should be.
Right after work I rushed to the workshop, my helmet was at the office since Friday anyway. The sky was gray, but roads were dry, so I decided no need to waste time going home, getting gear. As soon as I pressed the start button it started raining. By the time I was on the end of the street it was really pouring down. By the time I got home, I had to throw my clothes in to water, to dry them up. Best start of the week in a long time. Should I say I feel buoyant? :D

I think the mechanic need to check the wiring. It should not start raining as soon as your press the start button. That should happen in 3rd gear or higher and there is no place to stop :p

Today, I went to work on Mrs Rider Guiders lil Yam XT250 - 'L' plates and all which is technically illegal but WTH. Also setting off in the dark I discovered what an incredible headlight and high beam it has! Probably better than my T7. Amazing. Gets a bit weavy on its knobbly's at 70mph but other than that it's just a laugh a second.

Had an unplanned helmet test today.

Results are not comparable with Felipe Massas experience, but sure gave me a scare.

Tried to put it here as gif, but I can not understand, if it will play or not. In case not, I will leave a cryptic hint here, for alternative eTglT4zka5Y

Will this be on your channel?

Snuck out from work, during lunch today and got some sample volume of paint, that I took to the workshop that stores my bike over winter. My bike will get some freshening up this winter. Colors will be somewhat different from current ones.

That sounds like a good project Theodor, you painting it yourself or getting someone to do it for you? Hope there will be some vids of the transformation???

I've not done it yet, but will be picking my Beta up from being serviced in a bit, it should be nice and clean too as they have valeted it and given it an ACF50 treatment, so I can get it covered in mud over the weekend! :D
