The Real Star Of My Vlog

I just wanted to post some goodness in here.

I love my 5th-gen VFR.

It's gone 120,000km and some change.

I'm the second owner.

My previous bike was an 84 Magna 750 (not 700), fell in love with V4s, wanted something sporty.

Suffice it to say, this is pretty well my dream bike right here.

Looking good, might be a tad bit too much red for my personal taste, I'd break it up maybe with some dashes of black or race-lines also in black..

Red's my favorite color, so I'm good with it.

I think the seat line and the frame under the tank break things up nicely.

The only thing I don't like that much is the curve at the front...it's one of the areas the bike shows it's age the worst, but I can live with it, since I"m not usually looking at that anyway :)

Damn, jelly. Never enough red. I swore to never willingly own a black/gray vehicle, and if I end up with one I'll vinyl it to perfection.

Looks pretty damn clean for its age, I don't mind the front. Hell, I even find the Varadero 1000 kinda good looking.

The front, if anything is my least favorite part. I still love it. At first, I wanted a much newer one, but found this gem for 3000$ with a full set of large Givi Luggage (expensive on it's own). I messaged the guy who was in Toronto and told him I needed a few weeks to be able to come see the bike, he said he would love to see it in the hands of a fellow v4 fan. He held it for those three weeks and even got the safety inspection done for me because I told him that was all I needed to buy it. I did give him a bit extra on his price though, he even got a fresh oil change done. He was super cool.

I did have some heat issues and some electrical issues, but really the bike has been some many many miles.

Cracking bike and runs forever!!

Was so close to buying one of these instead of the Triumph!

Likewise.

I think I can start posting my videos as of today, and one of my future videos will be about why I like (and how I came to want) my bike.

That said, I've only owned 3 bikes, one Honda Scooter, and two Honda V4s, the first two really were happenstance but my last bike was the reason I wanted this one. There are literally over 100 bikes that I would be more than happy riding (basically name a bike and I'll try it). But the "great all-rounder" quality of the VFR was a huge draw, and that classy-yet-aggressive-and-sporty look.
