For what it's worth guys, I always nod. Well no, that's a lie, I always wave, and it's only on very rare occasions I don't get the wave back.
I suppose it's fair to say that at motorway speeds, (or maybe even a tad above !), on a naked bike, and high winds, a nod will be fine, but remember that's across the
Armco !
Bikers do stick together, trust me .......
If you break down in your car, your in trouble,
If you break down on a bike, the first biker to pass will stop, - fact !!

I will nod to everyone, from 50cc scooter to 1300cc turbo busa, To wearing full gear to just the minimum, riding a bike is riding a bike everything else is just down to personal preference.

I always nod, get a tingling sensation when someone nods back.... Especially when hogs nod back that always puts a smile on my face!

I nod all the time, unless I have a hand free, then I throw out a peace sign or a wave (Wave is for when I see kids staring at me)
I nod to sport bikes, choppers, harleys, but not scooters or those electric scooters that use the bloody sidewalk to ride on like complete idiots.
I don't want to start a rant here... I'll make a rant post on another section about these bikes... they annoy me so much.
Anyways, yes I do wave and nod.

I always nod or never wave. Ignorance seems to be on the increase here though, lots of bikers who don't reciprocate. GS riders seem to be the most ignorant ones 'round my way.

This was recently commented about on the DV owners forum. The blame it on the Long Way Round or whatever the program was.

The roads are straight enough here that we all do the biker wave. Everyone's pretty friendly... 93 % of the time you get the wave, even from the Harley.

When I don't get the wave back, though, I just putt on :p .....

I always nod because it's really just a respectful thing to do, and I still nod to cruisers even though 75% of them don't nod back haha.

Of course! Nodding is really important, especially in the case of L-plate riders, because they are the riders of the future. To keep the community alive we need to maintain these traditions!

Also, it's hilarious to see the reactions of some moped riders.
