General Tattoos Or No Tattoos

After a conversation at work I thought I would share some words concerning the topic of tattoos.

I like tattoos. Especially ones that are well done. But people should do whatever they want with their own bodies. Body modification means nothing about how well you can do a job and people who think that are just limited. I got fired from a job for having a facial piercing. I have 1 inch stretched ear lobes too. People assume all kinds of things about you based on body modifications.

I agree with you. The only issue I've ever had which didn't affect anything was a foreign client I had got offended by my cross tattoo but I think they only got offended because my coworker also had one. Petty really.

I would say you should respect people as much as they respect you.

I like tattoos. I always wanted them growing up, but then when I got old enough I just never got any...


I think as long as you don't get tattoo's on your face or anything that can't be covered up... the employer won't even know that the tattoo are there.

I agree that people shouldn't be judged on having tattoos, but that shit happens and it sucks.

I've got two lip piercings, eyebrow and a tongue piercing as well as a stretched ear. Well... the ear was stretched to 14mm but I took it out a couple of years ago and now it looks like a cats asshole.

I don't regret the piercings, but I kinda wish I didn't stretch my ear...

I have never been into getting all the piercings myself but I'm not against them for others. I did have a gauged ears but they were very small so I took them out and they grew back to normal so now it's just like I have standard ear piercings.

I think employers should have a right to present their company in any way they think is best. I have tattoos (not visible tough). Like with everything else, as time moves on they're becoming more accepted, and that's a good thing.

Personally I have nothing against tattoos on people. Most of my friends have them and they're all upstanding citizens and love to show off their latest addition. If I were hiring somebody at a business, I wouldn't have an issue with any tattoos as long as they weren't showing racist or derogatory remarks. If you've got a swastika on your forearm, yeah, that's bad mmkay...
