Taking Phone Calls

I have a crazy idea for taking phone calls while I vlog, I was wondering if anyone had any idea about getting the sound from a cell phone to the camera, almost like a dual vlog set up but instead of another mic it would pick up the audio coming from the phone.

You might be able to use a Y audio cable. Plug the single end into your camera and the mic and your phone into the double end.

Isnt there helmets around with the phone intercoms built int hese days and your mic camera could pick that up maybe?

I'm using a separate voice recorder for my Vlogs with the mic behind the cheek pad. It picks up the other side of the phone call from the speakers I have in the helmet from a Sena SMH-10, not hugely lous, but definitely hear-able....

That would be a cool idea. I am going to steal this I mean "borrow" and do something like this soon. I'm thinking it may be easier to just have maybe an app that records the phone call audio and then splice the audio into your video later.

Anything for views, lol. But make sure you are safe while doing it. I prefer to have my attention fully on the road.
