I don't often vlog as such - for the most part the only speaking you hear from me is a reaction to someone being an idiot or trying to kill me. This mostly means I swear.
I'd like my insults to be more witty/subtle/clever, but when someone has just tried to kill you all that goes out the window.
And fuck censorship, too!

Listen to someone who swears a lot and mentally replace the swear words with the word that the swear literally means. It'll sound weird.
I just find it more pleasant not to swear.

if you look back when i did my first few vlogs i used to beep it out, then i realised it was a whole lot of hassle to just bleep and remove the swearing so i dont bother anymore and just have the cavilier attitude if people dont like it then dont watch lol

Some videos have some swearing that's no big deal. Some have swearing that IS a big deal. The difference? When people use swear words like others use "um" or "ah". To me, it's just as annoying. I've seen several vloggers who use swear words as 'filler words' or just every other word. It's choppy and annoying. And then there's some who must describe EVERYTHING with a swear word, that's also annoying. To me. To others? Maybe not, and that's fine.
It's real easy to just not watch a video if I don't like it. OP, you just need to be yourself!
But, just realize excessive swearing is probably going to limit your audience at least somewhat. So, if you're concerned about being marketable to a broad audience, lots of people wanting to watch your videos, etc., then I'd suggest limiting it. If you are not concerned about a broad audience but rather just having a few like-minded viewers and subscribers, go for it!
Also, just FYI; advertising companies will not consider videos with a lot of swearing very 'advertiser friendly'. So if you have dreams of full YouTube partnership, it's not gonna happen with a lot of swearing. Also, if you have a large audience and think you might get some product placement or be asked to review something; also not likely to happen, as, again, you'll be viewed as "not advertiser friendly". Same as if your content was excessively sexual or pornographic, contained illegal content (like doing 200mph on a 'Busa), etc. Things that advertisers (who ARE concerned with a broad audience) may be concerned about being associated with.
None of that may matter to you, but just throwing it out there.
