Looked like some simple constructive criticism, no need to take it so personally.

If you were able to have that many bikes on a ride along with no-one getting hurt / damaging their bikes then it was a successful one, I think Dan was just giving some feedback which seems to be important in these kinds of events.

Best of luck :)

if it not aimed at me why post on here and his site like he has
he could not even be bothered to put his name down on the list for the ride
but he just turned up and come along and then post this

i was going to start doing more of these but not now
there were going to be open to any one not no more

i know what went wrong from the start
as i only had one helper
so what could i do

Chill bro. I did mention at the very start of that reply that I wasn't pointing fingers so stop being so offensive. I'm no having a pop at you. I'm trying to help to make future rides better. That's what we do. We chip in and help out.

This is the problem with the net as it is with texts. They're so easy to misconstrue because you can't get the intonation in.

No. I didn't read the updates. I hold my hand up to that. Why? Well largely due to the fact that last weekend one of the other lads who came on Sunday rang me and asked if I fancied a blast out that same Sunday to which I said yes to. He then suggest I put it on Bikething, which I think LeedsRider93 ended up doing, and I also put it on Twitter. I can't recall who it was, may have been Black-Rider, said someone had already organised a ride that Sunday. I thought it was my mate Jay. Turned out it was LittleDevilBiker who had organised it on here so I tagged the Bikething ride to yours to increase numbers. We were gonna meet at Huddersfield anyway so when I said they were meeting at Earnshaws it seemed like cool idea to meet with you guys and tag along.

I just took it that as you had already organised it, all anyone had to do was turn up and follow the crowd.

The rest, as I originally stated in big yellow wording so you didn't (but obviously did) get the idea I was having a dig at you, was constructive criticism.

Don't NOT organise any more rides just cuz you've either not read what I wrote properly or not understood it fella. I'll keep my opinions to myself next time as I shoulda done in the first place had I have known how you'd take it.

And to be fair, I counted about 40 riders at one point on that ride and your Youtube list, which I have had a look at only contains 31 names so there were quite a few not on your list.

Bikething isn't MY site. I set it up but it's run by the members who register on it. As the site says "By Bikers FOR Bikers".

Just to prove there's no hard feelings mate, I'll get the brews in if I bump into you on another ride.

Shiny side up mate, its all good, just misunderstood.

cheers just a misunderstanding

but what you said on these forums is what i was asking for help with

i have posted the next ride

i have made it a bit clear that i need more help i can not do it on my own

i have not done a route plan just a route map like what i did for the last ride it will save me hours of work

no one responed to me on the last ride but it still went a head

but on the ride some of the rider did a bit of j marking and stopping the traffic witch did help alot (cheers)

i need a lot of Junction markers

the jm normally are the faster riders and have a lot of fun doing it

bit like this one fixed tail end charlie for a leg of the route that all the JM know who he/she is

the leader indicates to jm behind him where to stop and mark. and they stays there until the tail end charlie has pass
Then the JM rejoins the group and works there way back to the front of the group to the other jm so they can take it in turns

so we will need them on roundabouts on the exit that we take to help show the way
and and the same on Junction and turns

its easy to explain than it is to type
this is how we used to do it with the group ride that i used to go on

i am going to stick to just using youtube for any pm /Comments and messaging as it will save me going through all the forums

No probs fella.

Post the ride info up on Bikething and we'll see what we can help out with. There's a few members on Bikething don't Vlog so you might find a few people willing to help out with blocking junctions etc.

BTW I was the rider who blocked that junction juct before Lady Bower Lake turnoff.
