What is the best way to save in Vegas? I tried to just upload to youtube but after about 30 min I was only at 10% and I have fast internet. So what is the best way to save a video in vegas so you can open it later and view what you have created. I tried to save one last night and It would not open in windows media player!

In editing, when you're finished a video and want to publish it, its called rendering :)

The easiest way is to highlight your project, press file then I think its render now. You should get it from there :D

Yeah to save the project as a project you click "save" as normal, and render as (the diskette with a squiggly line in it) to publish the video. I usually publish mine in 720p in wmv file which are small enough to upload easily to YT.

i save at 1080p 30fps mode at 4MB ps.

hence why most videos of mine are like 2 mins long cause thats like a 200MB file.

2mbps is overkill but i want the best quality. really 1MB ps would be ok for youtube.
