The versys is already slated for some cosmetic vinyl wrapping snazzery. Hopefully it won't look poop!

Thanks man, I can surely say it was one of the best decisions in my life! You should definitely go for that Harley you always wanted, once you have it, you will never have a bad day ever!

The bike is silver, but i think it looks 'light'. So a bit of carbon grey on the tank and fairing panels to butch it up a bit without drastically changing the colour. That way i don't have to modify the reg documents!

is the BMW all you dreamt of? are you at all dissapointed by anything? has it exceeded what you wanted it to be?

Get some brushed steel look wrap and put that on, that would look badass!

I did look into that but i couldn't find a colour that looked right. Also i read that the brushed stuff is a lot tougher to get into super curvy bodywork. But who knows, maybe next time! That's the beauty of it. I could have a different bike every year!

I love the brushed metal look, but i dont know if that would work for anything sporty looking really.

also, a real man would choose one bike and stick with it till the day he dies. you should consider that

Yes, it is all I dreamt of :D I dont even remotely have any plans of changing it in the future. As for disappointments, I knew exactly what I was signing up for before buying it. I knew it would be silly to expect the comfort of a touring bike on it or some huge 400kms tank range etc but for the purpose its made, I find no fault, atleast as of now.

And yes, it has exceeded my expectation in terms of what so much power feels like :D

I am so glad to hear all that and hope to feel exactly the same as you do when I finally get my dream bike.
 
Dream bike... That will change with time.

But for now, I think the Yamaha FZ8-S or Tracer 700 is my dream bikes.
But, if I would have the chance to design my own bike, and have it made with quality. I'd def go for that. At least in terms of fairings and visuals.

I want to do a whole series of vlogs/videos around that. I'm still pretty green on vehicle design though, so maybe sometime this summer or fall.
But first I need to figure out a bunch of 3d stuff.

I can add that I'd like to have one of those converted BMW Quads in my garage. Why does most quads always have to be off-road oriented anyway.

EW! Quads are like the worst of both worlds. you get wet AND get stuck in traffic.
That's why they are offroad, because they're fun offroad. Road quads sound like the most frustrating thing ever.
Same goes for trikes.

I think I'd definitely would watch your series on building some sort of frankenstein thing.
What frame and engine would you be leaning towards the most?

I'd be looking into designing all kinds of bikes, even cruisers, even if I don't care for them personally. Visually I find the boxer to be very pleasing, as is the V-twins.
Main idea for now though is a "what if <car brand> made a bike" series.

Remember that it would be drawings and artwork, not building bikes. I'm an artist (will make Grumpy bear vid on that). I don't have much resources to put together new bikes or anything. I don't even have a garage.

Ideally it would be good for the winter hiatus. But there is no shortage of topics to draw anyway. Should be doing it when the time is right.
