man... that's what it was like with Harleys for me.
I know their performance is sub par and their price is considered too high...
but they look so nice.

I sat on a NineT... it just felt like a simple commuter with a BMW engine in it...

Probably never :( But a man needs to have his dreams and hopes. My current bike is nice and I am ok with it.

it all works out that you can afford it in the end.

seriously though... there's loadsa finance deals you can get, or even small loans...

I buy stuff only when i have cash. Taking loans in this day and age is way to big of a risk. If you loose your job and are not able to pay up your loan you could be homeless in an instant.

I agree. I always wanted a ZX14R so last summer I got it. Wasn't the smartest purchase I have made. Still haven't figured out when I'll need to go 180 mph. I guess the speed is another dream for another time.
 
For what seemed like FOREVER the BMW S1000rr was my dream bike. I finally got a used 2010 and it was awesome, but I sold it. Power wasn't so immense down low and never got to use it for regular riding. It was just another motorcycle in the end and I worried about it's longevity.

Now the Super Duke on the other hand....that's probably my most recent dream bike.
 
This is a really difficult question.. My dreambike kind of depens. Ideally I'd have multiple bikes!
I'd like a Tiger 800xc to commute around on, but it's too expensive for me at the moment.
I love my '05 zx6r for the sportier rides. The 600 doesn't really do it for me, but I quite like that little more torque you have with the 636. I wouldn't mind getting a newer 636, but the one I have now has been excellent and I see no reason to replace it.
Adittionally I'd really like to get a sumo for city riding and generally exploring, but I want it more for what I can do than for what it looks like if that makes sense.

As for the "poster I had on the wall" Yep.. The Ducati 848 (which I'm simply to big for) and the Zx6r. Love my zx6r :)
 
I guess it will have to be a Triumph Street Triple, or maybe the Speed Triple if I need more speed.

Other than that I would love to have an old Triumph Bonneville/Trident or something else made before 1980.

I'll be a proud owner of my dream bike before june.

I'm a mixture of excited, scared and sexually aroused.

I never owned something that I desire so much before.... I hope it lives up to expectations and isn't like on of those meals that you used to have a kid and then 20 years later you go back to that same restaurant expecting the exact same feelings you had when you were a kid and it's bland and gray and sad with adult life and just doesn't feel the same anymore and is forever ruined for you and there's no going back.

we will see.

I lie awake at night getting both moist and hard simultaneously over the dream of one day owning KTM 1290 Superduke. In the meantime I'd settle for a 990 SMT.

But in reality i guess I'll just have to try and spice up my old Versys 650!

My dream bike was the S1000RR in the Blue/White/Red colour scheme (pre 2015 version) and just last week, I ended up buying one from 2014! :) I cant even put it to words really what that day was like, so obviously I didnt try to make any vlogs because of too much excitement!
