Ah, what happened was when it first started snowing, the temperature was hovering right above freezing, so it also came down as slush and rain . A few hours later, the temperature plummeted freezing everything on the bottom layer as an icy-slushy mix and all of the heavy, wet snow on top of that. The snow mostly likes to come up, but not the ice .

...now if it's a dry snow, the stuff will come up without a problem . This time, though, this was what's called a "back breaker" type of snow ~_~ .....

Anyways, thanks for your question ^_^ ! Personally, I'd take just a straight rain any day >_> ~.....

Here, in Jakarta. Water everywhere (re: flood) because rain for 3 days and not stopping. I must get through it using my bike. Luckily my bike isn't dead because the flood is too high, around 50cm - 1m

Last year we had a record rain in 36 hours - 20.32cm... but that's nothing compared to what you guys are having . Maybe a pontoon boat would work better ? Make sure to put a flamethrower in the back ... get there in jet speed time, too !
