Ryder115's Mini Motovlogs

I've heard a lot of different opinions from scooter guys about upgrading the crank. There's people who say you'll blow an engine in 3000 miles, and then there's guys who say they've run their bikes hard with a stock crank for years and haven't had problems. For now I'm keeping it stock, but that may change
If it's like other Chinese cranks for many applications, both could be true. Some factories don't have great QC. Others are quite reliable. Luck of the draw unless you can narrow it down. But if it's a low cost engine you might be looking at quantity over quality and likely the less reliable manufacturers.

I'm just crossing my fingers I have good luck with it... besides, if I try to replace the crank myself there's no way it'll ever run again lol

My 50cc ruckus went 60. I went to a 150cc then went big bore and the crank went out with only 2000 miles on it. I built the bottom end with a +8.2 crank that wasn't supposed to fit. I had crazy headwork into the bike. Changed everything but the cases for better parts. I did 120mph on a 800lb 4 wheeler dyno. I beat a Dodge Viper a bunch of mustangs and Hondas and a few 600cc sports bikes. It's all about tuneing both carb and variator with belt driven engines like that.
