Ride pics (Warning! BIG pics!)

Took a nice, short little 200 mile ride out to the Smoky Mountains foothills for lunch today. Unfortunately my camera's batteries were dead and all I had was my shitty cell phone to take a few pictures with. Definitely some gorgeous vistas out there.

Good bike, worked on its own terms in the last few months I was using it. Didn't like rain. This picture was taken a year or so ago at Pool Bank, some nice roads around there.

I know this constitutes as revival of an old thread, but I thought I might post anyway.

Today I got on the bike and got lost, literally. I even found a blocked off road. I know this isn't the scenery equivalent of posts by other people, but it is the best I could do.

These kinds of threads are meant to be dug up and bumped whenever there's something worthy to add.

I had an excellent ride today to find the highest point nearby, so headed off to Clee Hill quarry in Shropshire for some posing pics:

Looks like there are some smashing roads around there. Must head up there at some point.

*dribble* right when I'm over there if anyone want's to show me those roads I'd love you for ever :D (or you'll get some beer) that looks beautifull. And on a ZX9R :D

I have to say it's not really sportsbike territory - but that's all the more reason for me to go places like that! :D

If you're up for a ride around that area when you are back I'm sure we can all sort something out. The Bridgnorth - Ludlow road isn't far from there - over 20 miles of beautiful scenery, tight twisty turns and fast sweepers:
