Ride pics (Warning! BIG pics!)

I'd forgotten about the Bikepics website! I've just uploaded more of mine there, and all my older bikes are on there: http://www.bikepics.com/members/nastyevilninja/ and here are a few choice ones:

Well, figured it was about time to show off my motorcycling lineage.

First up - 1995 Suzuki Savage. Rode it till it fell apart (2+ years) then sold it.

Then I went and bought this beauty. 2005 Suzuki M50. Not the most comfortable bike, but it was plenty quick and sounded amazing..

But I got tired of my ass hurting and having wind in my face all the time..so I bought a 1998 VFR with only 12000 miles on it, in 2009.

Until one morning in October of 2010 a deer ran into me...

Insurance company gave me more than I could ever have sold her for. So I let them have it and bought a 2003 VFR.

I had the bike for about 5 months, and some dipshit pulled a u-turn in the middle of a blind corner..

I decided to fix it, and now she looks like this:

What top portion is that for your tank bag? That looks like it would be super comfy to lay on during a long highway slab. :) I may have to look into that for my Cargo Endurance tank bag...

Hahaha, it's not a 'top portion.' The top has an extension on it, and it IS a cargo endurance, so yours should do the same thing. That wouldn't have been so comfortable though, there was a helmet in there. :P

Lovely looking paint job on the VFR - I love the John Player Special logos - reminds me of a race car I had as a toy with the black and gold JPS :)

What a great thread... I loved bikes growing up and spent alot of time riding on the back of bikes when I had the opportunity. I learned how to ride when I was 13, and spent the next couple of years wanting one. I eventually bought my very own spankin new Ninja 250 to commute to college. Besides crappy city commutes, she went to a couple nice places:
Montreal, Canada - with a group of about 12 bikes in 2006

Catskill Mountains, NY in 2009

After graduating college, I sold her with about 23,000 miles for an upgrade. I got a 2008 SV650S which I still have. I think this one is a keeper.

And, when my dad isn't looking I take his Volusia out ;)

2012 should be a promising year too! :D

We can trade at the Ozarks. Then I'll have full set of Nelson Rigg gear. :ugeek:

Shit, find a box and ship it to me. I'll send you mine and a check to cover your postage.

Just message me your address and it's yours. No need to send a check for the postage. Once I find a box I'll ship it out.

Thanks Toast. Yes it is very comfortable. I've done 1,000 miles in under 2 days and loved every second of it.

AZZ3R, I don't know about the gel seat. I needed a comfortable seat that also helped with my groundreach so I went with a custom seat. What I got from reading reviews is that Sargent seats are better for taller riders, and Corbin is better for shorter ones.
