Removing GoPro adhesive mount from helmet

FOR NO DAMAGE AT ALL USE DENTAL FLOSS.... Using the floss, you take it and use in a "sawing" type motion... Once it's off, you can either use "Goo Gone" brand adhesive remover or just plain rubbing alcohol... Either one you use will work fine and leave you with a PERFECT Helmet again without the possibility of damaging the nice paint on it!

I removed a drift one, one of those 3M sticks like nothing you have ever seen before pads. I just pulled and wiggled for about 10 mins. no use using a tool and damaging your lid

If you're careful with it, I found a pen knife does the trick rather nicely. That's how I removed one from my helmet after realizing the angle I put it at was total crap.

Grab the mount with channel-lock pliers and TWIST the mount. The glue cannot hold rotational torque very well and it will just pop right off!

This worked like a charm. Took off two adhesive mounts in 10 seconds. A thousand thanks!!

I used a mans hair drier lol, a heat gun with a long flat directional nozzle and came off quick. Got the idea from YouTube vids where a hair drier was used
