Queensland Meetup and Ride Queens B'day Oct 5-7 2013

Ok peeps been burning the candle again for our next meet which will be a proper ride this time. Now the 6th or 7th looks like the days so popular vote decides the day and also a few other options to decide as well I want everyone to have input so the day is as awesome as our last meetup. First option is what kind of ride do we want? we can do a good ole fashion ride round a big balloon loop with a stop here n there to stretch out. OR a short ride with some good twists and we can setup cams (safely) on a good looking corner and do some filming for a montage or intro and still shots etc. Here are a few ideas for routes and I know these roads are good fun, a few options for north and south of brissy. If we go north well just have to watch ourselves a bit more to keep po po donations to a minimum.

I would be down for any day of that weekend :D Just up to everyone's Plans :D I know a few people work and such on the weekends so if we make a
decision of the date soon they can tell their work if they can have that day off if they want :) But really keen on what ever Rotue we take! (No. 1!!) ;P
 
Im keen! I also vote for Route 1, looks awesome and not toooo far for my 150cc :) I promised a girl that I'll be at her party on the 7th but theres no harm in being fashionably late so what ever day work best for the majority I'll be cool with ;)

!st route - I have done most of that loads of times and is always good, probably a little more freeway than I would like though for the return trip. I would rather go back through M'bah and Mt Tomewin.

2nd route - This is more like it! But the road either side of Urbenville is pretty rough going from what i have heard and judging by what I have seen on the Mt Lyndesay hwy south of Woodenbong, I believe it! I don't mind that on my bike and am keen to do that route, but some of the smaller sports bikes might find it a bit rough.

3rd Route - I did part of that (from Wivenhoe (point G) to Point D on the weekend and it was great. Glorious is always good too and I am keen to do Mt Mee as I have never been there, but yes the police presence will be heavier there than in northern NSW.

4th Route - I did the a lot of that route on the weekend just gone as well. From point F near Woodford to Point N at Mapleton and it was bloody awesome! Lots of traffic lights out in the middle of nowhere due to roadworks though but that just gives us more opportunities for Chinese Fire Drills! I would definitely do that route again!

I am easy though. They are all going to be great fun and I like the idea of setting up a cam on a corner or two. rnickeymouse style! Either day is good with me at his stage, I will have to check....actually the 7th would be better I think.

The first route is a good one, the only change I will suggest is going over Tomowin and up through Mudgerebah instead then Beechmont, Springbrook is full of cops and you can't really have much fun unless you're going 120+

I will come for sure this time..... kind of rude if I don't seeing how that route is going past my house.




My suggestion, Mudgerebah is amazing and Beechmont is just as good. Best roads in SEQ in my opinion.

I would love to get as many guys on this one, so i am hoping most of the local vlogers We have found can see this post.

Our Meetup cruise Day is on the 6th of October and we will meet at the Yatala BP at 7:45am and leave by 8:30am.
Will get Breaky at a Good place "apparently Slipprymogoose says is amazing haha" so better be haha Please either

I am in Robina and was thinking of meeting the guys somewhere in the hills further south myself. I don't really fancy riding up the highway to Yatala, would rather do Springbrook and meet over on the Nerang-M'bah or something. So Aarie, we could meet up in Robina or something then meet the others later. 13DR is also in Robina, what were your plans 13DR?

I don't mind riding up to Yatala either. My step-bro will more then likely be coming as well...and I doubt he have any objections as to where we go, he'd just be happy sitting on his new 500 haha
