Well I don't want to shamelessly plug my video in here, but I actually just talked about what absolutely NOT to do while trying to promote your channel. Give it a watch if you're interested.

As far as what you should or can do to get your channel some more exposure ... well aside from using forums and FB you just have to let your vlogs live their own life on YouTube. People will stumble upon them and hopefully give them a try. Also interacting with other vloggers and building relationships that way helps a lot to gain more loyal subs.

I really liked this video man, and I also like the direction of your channel in general...Keeping it real...unlike a lot of these other MotoVloggers out there. Subbed bro!

Yeah man, unfortunately I came into the MotoVlogging game really late, and dont have a lot of experience other than Facebook....Have a lot of catching up to do....IG is awesome though, you can command huge numbers of people to view your content...you just need to keep it current.

Basically I've tried it all with not a huge amount of success.

I've come to conclusion that if you want subs in the motovlog world you basically have to act like a dickhead and cater to the 12-14 year old audience, and use heaps of click bait.

If you want real subs that you can have a actual meaningful conversation with it's a slow but much more rewarding process.

If you just want to see you views spike and feel better about what you are doing a couple of bucks on youtube advertising works well.

I Vlog for myself as a diary, every month I get 5 subs more. I don't seek subs although my ego loves them!!

I am 46 so I'm not your best youtuber.. which is basically an adult man 20 ish with head phones playing Xbox and swearing like a dickhead into the camera and acting like my 12 year old son...

I wonder how you could use snap chat as a Motovlogger though, isnt a mostly selfie type program? I tend to prefer using instagram to promote some of my content.

They have a system which allows you to target area's based upon location. So for instance if a bunch of people were snapping because it's an event or there's a crowd you could use a location based add to promote your channel within the app. Outside of a location and the add is no longer seen. The trick is to come up with a way for the add to be effective in the area at that time, that's up to you.

Please let me in on anything you guys have done that brings in any views or subs. I am new to vlogging and I know it takes time to get subs but after a few months all the subs I have are a few of my friends that know about my channel. I dont just want subs, I want subs that actually want to watch my gay ass videos.
I have read the whole thread and I'm going to put these things to work as best as I can. Any more info about how to promote would be greatly appreciated.

Well, I'm not planning on falling off my bike cause thats going to hurt a bit more than I would want, I don't have a grom or a new model (although a Victoria Secrete model would be nice), I don't have cancer and don't want to get it but I can make exhaust noise. 1 out of 5 isn't bad right? LMFAO. I'm screwed, oh well I'm going to have fun posting videos of being screwed I guess.

Don't get cancer. It's not worth it for views. A Grom looks fun, though.
